A senior lecturer in retail and marketing from RGU has said the Bon Accord shopping centre must become a "social hub" rather than "just a shopping destination".
Andrew Turnbull told The Press and Journal the centre can revive its fortunes by becoming a "lifestyle hub".
It comes as the iconic shopping centre lost retailer Phase Eight to rival Union Square.
Andrew said: “Revitalising the Bon Accord Centre requires a mix of modernisation, enhanced experiences, and strategic repositioning.
“The key is to shift from being just a shopping destination to a social hub where people come for experiences, not just products."
