Bond Dickinson shortlisted for Scottish Legal Awards

Bond Dickinson's Aberdeen office has been shortlisted for the Community Contribution of the Year Award at the Scottish Legal Awards.

The firm was shortlisted for its work with CLAN Cancer Support, a well-established charity in Aberdeen and North-east Scotland. In 2012 Bond Dickinson approached CLAN with the concept of a charity walk through Aberdeen. Collaborating with CLAN the firm helped to set up the event which has become a yearly fundraising event.

This year judges received the highest number of nominations for awards ever in the competition's 14 year history. Entries came from individuals and firms from across Scotland.

Michael Spence, partner and head of the firm's Aberdeen office said: "I am delighted that the office has been shortlisted for our work with CLAN. We have enjoyed supporting the charity for a number of years. CLAN provides amazing support to people across Scotland who have been affected by cancer."

The winners will be announced at a black tie awards event on Thursday March 30 2017 at the Assembly Rooms in George Street, Edinburgh.
