North-east Scotland based engineering specialists, Brimmond welcomed around 140 invited guests to their Kintore headquarters last week for an open day event, where they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at the custom-built facilities and a selection of the firm’s high-end equipment.
Bringing together a mix of valued customers, suppliers, industry contacts and partners, the event featured demonstrations of Brimmond’s extensive range of stock marine cranes – the UK’s largest - with many guests trying their hand at manoeuvring one!
Guests also had the opportunity for a sneak peek at Brimmond’s pioneering aquaculture net cleaning solution – the NetJetTM . Designed and built by Brimmond’s specialist team of engineers and technicians, the NetJetTM is already making waves in the aquaculture industry.
It wasn’t all business though – local foodie firms Big Daddy’s Street Food, Haydn’s Pizza, the Coffee Pod and Forest Farms Dairy were also on hand to whet guests’ appetites!
Managing director of Brimmond, Tom Murdoch, hailed the day a huge success: “Our team are justifiably proud of the work they do and the equipment that we design, manufacture and supply to customers around the world and across a multitude of sectors. The open day was an opportunity for our valued customers, partners and suppliers not only to see what we do first-hand, but also to meet the dynamic team behind it all.
“Our food and drink partners did a fantastic job on the day, and we’d like to thank them for all their efforts to keep us fed and watered! Of course we’d also like to thank our guests for taking time out of their day to join us – judging by the smiles and laughter we think everyone had a great time!”
The Open Day was followed by an evening of fun for the Brimmond team and their families, with a race simulator and batak game bringing out everyone’s competitive side!
