Director of development and sales at Brio Retirement Living, Karl Hallows has been shortlisted as ‘one to watch’ at the prestigious HealthInvestor Power Fifty awards.

Now in its 10th year, the HealthInvestor Power Fifty recognise some of the industry’s most influential leaders at the annual event.

Karl is one of 10 shortlisted professionals that have been identified as influencers of the future in the health and social care sector in the ‘One to Watch’ category, which have all been chosen by the Power Fifty themselves.

Karl’s dedication to the health and social care sector has been evident in his role at Brio Retirement Living where alongside the wider team, he’s helped to redefine a vision for retirement living, through implementing strong support networks, and championing an improved quality of service and a better overall experience for later life living.

Karl said: “I’m honoured to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award which celebrates some of the leading faces in the industry. Our aim at Brio Retirement Living has always been to create communities that support the lifestyles of our homeowners, and that includes providing networks, care and support which enable independence, and healthy, active later lifestyles.

“This vision is shared by the great people I work alongside so I’d like to acknowledge the hard work and support of the teams both at Brio Retirement Living and Places for People.”

The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 28 at Plaisterers’ Hall, in London in front of more than 200 peers from the health and social care sector.
