The British Business Group Abu Dhabi actively promotes business between the UK, Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

The BBG provides a platform for the British business community in Abu Dhabi to make connections through holding regular speaker engagements, networking events and collaborative initiatives.

This year, with ADIPEC 2020 taking place virtually, BBG Abu Dhabi is holding an online ‘Kick-Off Breakfast’ on the opening morning of ADIPEC, November 9.

Working in conjunction with UK entities – The Department for International Trade at the British Embassy, The Energy Industries Council (EIC), Scottish Development International (SDI), the Welsh Government and the UAE-UK Business Council (UUBC) – this event will be a virtual coming together of British companies with interest in doing business in the UAE and that value connections through ADIPEC. Attendees will represent a cross section of industries including energy, engineering, legal, UAE company set up, UK and UAE governments.

The keynote speaker is Lord Ed Lister, strategic advisor to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and co-chair of the UUBC. He will be joined by HE Dr. Saif Sultan Al Nasseri, chief executive officer of ADNOC Gas Processing and UUBC Energy Working Group co-chair, and Stuart Broadley, chief executive officer of The EIC.

The event itself will be delivered through a dynamic virtual event platform, with a bespoke virtual set that can be fully branded, providing an experience more comparable to a live event than a standard webinar. Attendees will enjoy a unique and memorable experience throughout this virtual event.

SPonsorship opportunities are available. This is a bespoke opportunity to showcase your company to up to 500 delegates and affiliated companies in both the UAE and UK, across the energy sector, wider industries and government entities.
