UK top 50 law firm Brodies LLP announces six new Partners following its latest round of promotions and the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer.

Making the step up to Partner are Real Estate Lawyers, Jenna Monteith, David Bales and Rory Forbes, along with Solicitor Advocate and Disputes Lawyer David Ford, and Personal and Family Lawyers Victoria Varty and Garry Sturrock.

The Partner promotions and recent appointment of top-ranked Criminal Lawyer, Neil Hay, means that Brodies now has more than 120 partners. The firm’s headcount has also grown to 950 colleagues including Partners, based across its Leeds, London and four Scottish offices.

Jonathan Lee has also been appointed by Brodies as Chief Financial Officer and will join the operational leadership team. Jonathan brings with him more than two decades of experience in financial services. Prior to joining the firm, he was director of finance and investment operations at Aviva plc and has also held senior finance roles at Standard Life and M&G/Prudential. A Chartered Accountant and with an MBA from the University of Edinburgh, Jonathan specialises in leading complex finance functions to drive operational excellence and support strategic growth.
