Aberdeen-based Rubislaw Furniture Solutions is seeing a brisk trade in its sofa and armchair range aimed mainly at residential landlords, as the Aberdeen residential rental market remains steady.
James Cummings of RFS commented, "The residential letting market is one we understand, and we set out to fix a problem they have with almost every tenancy change. You need to replace some furniture, and you need it immediately. We stock a large range of sofas and armchairs in the sub £500 space, and crucially, we hold them as stock, so they can be in your rental property in hours. This gives us a large advantage over the big chain retailers, and it's a strong growth area of our business."
RFS is based in Blackburn, Aberdeen, and operates a warehouse business model for high-quality ex-display and end-of-season furniture, and last week launched their own range of high-end bespoke furniture.
