Burnett & Reid has announced the promotion of two valued members of its Private Client team, with Kudeja Shaikh promoted to Senior Associate, and Kirsty Williams to Senior Solicitor.
The firm’s Private Client team supports individuals and families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire with matters including Wills, Powers of Attorney, estate administration, and future planning, helping clients navigate important life decisions with confidence and clarity.
Kudeja Shaikh has been assisting clients with the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney for nine years and particularly enjoys supporting executors and beneficiaries through the administration of estates. A Notary Public and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Kudeja continues to build her expertise within the Private Client sector.
Kirsty Williams, who qualified as a solicitor in August 2024, specialises in Private Client work including drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney and assisting executors with estate administration. Kirsty is also a Notary Public and currently studying towards achieving her STEP membership. Kirsty is known for her approachable and supportive manner with clients.
The promotions reflect Burnett & Reid’s continued investment in its people and recognition of the important role both Kudeja and Kirsty play within the growing Private Client team.
