The countdown is on for the Business Beats Cancer Aberdeen Gala Dinner, taking place on Friday 5th June at the P&J Live, and excitement is building as the first entertainment act is revealed!
The board are delighted to announce that Drums and Roses, the high-energy Scottish bagpipe rock sensation, will bring their electrifying performance to this year’s event. Known for their unique fusion of traditional pipes and powerful percussion, Drums and Roses have wowed audiences across the UK and beyond – and they’re guaranteed to make this a night to remember.
But that’s not all… another spectacular act will be announced in due course, so keep an eye out for updates!
Alongside world-class entertainment, guests will hear inspiring science updates from the Cancer Research UK Institute of Genetics and Cancer in Edinburgh, with insights from leading researchers driving breakthroughs in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The gala dinner brings together companies from across the North-east of Scotland who are committed to making a difference. Tables of 10 are available at £1,500, offering an evening of networking, entertainment, and impact.
In Aberdeen and the surrounding area, around 3,600 people are diagnosed with cancer each year (2018, 2019, 2021). Every penny raised will support vital cancer research in Scotland, funding life-saving work that benefits people across the country and beyond.
