Business Gateway Aberdeen City & Shire is looking for a Growth Business Adviser to join the team and support ambitious businesses across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
The successful candidate will work directly with growing and established SMEs, providing tailored advice and strategic support to help businesses identify opportunities, overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth. The role will involve working with business leaders on areas including growth planning, funding, business development, financial modelling, change management and routes to market.
The role offers an opportunity to make a real impact on businesses across the region building trusted relationships with clients and connecting them with relevant expertise and opportunities within the wider business support ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of running or leading a business, providing business growth support, or equivalent commercial experience, alongside a strong understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about business, confident working with senior business leaders and committed to delivering high-quality client-focused support.
The role is based within the Economic Development service at Aberdeenshire Council. Main office is located at Woodhill House Aberdeen and the role will involve travel across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
