City centre business organisation, Aberdeen Inspired, has encouraged businesses to make their voice heard by submitting their views on licensing board policy to the Aberdeen Licensing board by Wednesday, May 30.

Following on from Scotland’s first Night Time Economy Conference, Nicola Johnston, evening and night time economy manager for Aberdeen Inspired, said: “It’s extremely important that businesses provide feedback through the online questionnaire so we can really start to shape how our city centre operates.

“This is a chance for real, positive change to support the industry and to ensure an effective and beneficial trading environment whilst offering a varied and vibrant night time economy for visitors to the city.”

The questionnaire topics include, but are not limited to; overprovision, occasional licence, significant entertainment and the maximum 14 hours trading rule.
