Aberdeen-based Caber Coffee is brewing up Christmas cheer for vulnerable adults across the North-east, thanks to its support of a festive fundraising project.
The family-run business has thrown its weight behind VSA, the social care charity, and Original 106 Christmas Delivered campaign which aims to bring some festive joy to vulnerable adults in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire by providing them with Christmas gifts.
Building on the success of previous Christmas fundraising campaigns, Caber Coffee will donate 25p from every retail pack sold of its special Stocking Filler blend to VSA via the Original 106 appeal. Hand-packed in 100% compostable packaging, Stocking Filler is described as a rich, chocolatey “magical blend full of festive flavour that fuels Santa’s travels.”
In addition to its product donations, Caber Coffee has also gone a step further by funding and helping to distribute donation boxes to boost contributions the appeal. The company has also enlisted the support of its customer network, encouraging them to display donation boxes in their venues to help maximise visibility and engagement.
Commenting on the project, Caber Coffee managing director Findlay Leask said: “We firmly believe that our business should play an active role in supporting our local community, and the ‘Christmas Delivered’ campaign is an excellent way to bring the spirit of the season to some of those who need it most. We are delighted that Stocking Filler will help to deliver some Christmas goodwill, one cup at a time.”
