Cairngorm Bothies and Lodges announce photography competition

Cairngorm Bothies and Cairngorm Lodges have announced the recent launch of their photography competition to celebrate World Photography Day, and they’re calling on all past and present guests to get involved! Running from August 19 to September 30, 2025, the competition is a fun way to showcase the stunning beauty of Royal Deeside as seen through the eyes of visitors.

The businesses are inviting participants to share their best photographs taken at or around the properties, which are nestled in a beautiful Scots Pine forest. Whether it's a breathtaking landscape shot, a charming picture of your dog enjoying a walk, or a special moment with family and friends, all photos are welcome. To enter, simply post your entries on the Facebook event pages.

A spokesperson for the companies said they were excited to see the amazing images captured by their guests. "We know our visitors have a keen eye for the beauty of what surrounds their self catering accommodation, and this competition is a fantastic way to see the memorable moments that our guests cherish the most," the spokesperson said.
