CALA Homes (North) has been recognised for its dedication to customer care, scooping the prestigious Outstanding Customer Service honour at the Trades Awards 2019.

Acknowledging CALA’s exceptional work in the property industry across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, the leading housebuilder was honoured alongside tradespeople from across the North East for their talents and dedication to the trades.

Presented at a glittering ceremony hosted at Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen, the annual ceremony awarded 14 individuals and businesses for their commitment to the sector, as well as their ingenuity and innovation.

Stuart Moggach, customer experience manager at CALA Homes (North), collected the award on the evening.

He said, “We are delighted to have been recognised for our dedication to customer service by the Trades Awards. Positive feedback from our customers is imperative to the brand – this award is further validation of the exceptional experience and product we offer our customers.

“At CALA Homes, the customer journey is of the upmost importance, from start to finish. We continuously monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, ensuring our service remains first class. This accolade is testament to the passion and hard work the team delivers day in, day out to create the high-quality homes and buying process that purchasers expect from CALA.”

Mike Wilson, managing director of Mearns & Gill, organisers of the Trades Awards said: “Once again, the Trades Awards has uncovered 14 incredible individuals and businesses, who are all helping to put the North East construction industry on the map.

“This year has been incredible for many reasons, from the fact that we have our highest number of female finalists ever, ranging from joiners to architects, to seeing that so many companies now understand the importance of embracing innovation to the development of the industry.

“The category of ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ was once again one of the most difficult categories to judge, due to the standard of applicant, which is a great reflection of the industry in the North-east.”

CALA Homes currently has five live developments across the North-east of Scotland – Cults Park in Cults; CALA at Grandhome in Bridge of Don; Craibstone Estate in Aberdeen; Milltimber Manor at Oldfold Village in Milltimber; and The Grove in Inverurie.
