Citizens and communities are being encouraged to have their say on multiple plans as part of a consultation that looks to shape the future of the city.
The consultation launched sets out a ten-year vision for Aberdeen. It was developed following the ‘Your Place, Your Plans, Your Future’ engagement in 2025.
Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Christian Allard said: “We are committed to working closely with residents, community groups, and partners to ensure every voice is heard.
“This is an important opportunity for everyone to help shape a brighter and more inclusive future for our city.”
The consultation, delivered in partnership with Community Planning Aberdeen, focuses on the Draft Local Outcome Improvement Plan 2026-36, Draft Locality Plans for North, South and Central 2026-36 and the Children’s Service Plan 2026-31.
The plans look to reduce poverty, improve health and wellbeing, boost employment, create better long-term outcomes for young people, cut carbon emissions and protect more land for nature.
The results will be used to finalise the Plans for presentation to the Community Planning Aberdeen Board in June 2026.
The consultation will be open until 20 March 2026 and is available to complete online: Have Your Say Today - Aberdeen 2036 Consultation: Help Finalise Our Plans - Commonplace
