If you work for a business that recruits graduates, the Chamber is asking you to provide an opinion on their quality as employees.

Universities have a huge positive impact on the economies of the towns and cities where they are based. Students make significant cultural and financial contributions through spending on accommodation, shopping and leisure and many contribute by taking up vital part-time employment while studying. Graduates then go on to contribute positively to the region through continued employment throughout the area. With two universities based in the City of Aberdeen, the local economy benefits greatly from the presence of students and graduates.

The annual QS World University Rankings process is undertaken by an organisation called Quacquarelli Symonds. Published in June each year it measures, amongst other things, ‘employer reputation’. This component of the ranking is based on an annual survey of employers around the world where any employer who hires graduates can provide their views on which universities provide them with the most competent, innovative and effective graduates.

If you would like to have your say on the quality of graduates your business has taken on, you’d be making a vital contribution in reflecting opinion on the quality of universities and the talent they produce.

To do this, simply follow this link and provide the requested details.

QS will then send you a link in February 2023 to invite you to take part in a 10 minute online survey.
