Camphill Estates works in partnership with four independent Camphill charities, each dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the local and wider community of Aberdeen City & Shire.
Their work spans all age groups, from early years to the elderly, and covers a range of areas including health & wellbeing, education, lifelong learning, social care and sustainability.
Volunteers have been involved in various tasks including clearing one of our outdoor play areas, gardening, weeding, and edging the paths.
By volunteering teams play a hands-on role in supporting these charities as they deliver essential projects, maintain the estates, and enhance facilities - directly benefitting the Camphill community and the local people they support.
Camphill Estates have had great start to their 2025 volunteering season, welcoming corporate volunteers to Beannachar, Camphill School Aberdeen and Camphill Wellbeing trust – The Compass Project.
Shout out to all those who have volunteered so far in 2025 - Harbour Energy, S&P Global, Starbucks, rhi, Bank of Scotland, PWC, Ashtead Technologies, TechnipFMC and Oil Spill Response.
Camphill School Aberdeen have also welcomed volunteers from Fifth Ring and Hall Morrice LLP who bid on a day of corporate volunteering at the Back to School Quiz held in February! As part of their auction prize, they enjoyed a light lunch of soup and bread prepared by the young people in the kitchen workshop.
Volunteering is an opportunity for businesses to support local charities and their vital work. Teams can get involved in a range of essential outdoor and indoor projects, such as organic gardening, woodland conservation, estate and buildings maintenance and development.
