Aberdeen-based sustainable print and digital workflow solutions provider Carbon has been recognised with a prestigious award from Epson for securing the largest and most environmentally sustainable print service deal in the UK.

The award, presented to Carbon at a recent ceremony in London, recognises Carbon’s successful rollout of Epson’s Heat-Free Printing Technology in 2024-25. Unlike traditional laser printers, this innovative technology uses no heat in the ink ejection process, resulting in significantly lower power consumption, reduced maintenance, and a smaller environmental footprint.

Ryan Green, Digital Services Director at Carbon, said: “We’re proud to be recognised by Epson for our commitment to sustainable innovation.

“Our goal is to help businesses modernise their operations while reducing their impact on the environment. This accolade validates the incredible work our team has done to bring more energy-efficient, cost-effective print and digital solutions to clients across the UK.”
