Cash for Kids North East Scotland is raising a glass to summer with the launch of its exciting new fundraising initiative, “Lift Their Spirits”, a vibrant cocktail campaign running from June 1 to August 2 across four popular Aberdeen bars.
The campaign sees participating venues create their own unique pink and green-inspired cocktails, reflecting the iconic Cash for Kids colours, with proceeds helping to support local children and young people who need it most.
The four venues taking part in this summer fundraising initiative with their curated cocktails are The Spiritualist stirring up a Strawberry Spritz, Revolution Aberdeen mixing up a Strawberry Mojito, Bar One Eighty by Legends also serving up a Strawberry Hugo Spritz and SOBR Bar shaking things up with their Wild Eve Aperitif. For every cocktail sold, £1 will be donated to the charity, helping support local children who need it most.
The campaign officially kicked off with a launch event kindly hosted by Revolution Aberdeen on Friday 5 June, bringing together clients, supporters and members of the local community to celebrate the start of the summer fundraiser, taste the refreshing cocktail and raise awareness of the campaign.
The initiative was created by Ciara Christie, Charity Fundraising Executive at Cash for Kids North East Scotland, who developed the concept as one of her first major fundraising campaigns since joining the charity only 2 months ago.
Speaking about the launch, Ciara said: “I am absolutely thrilled to see my first fundraising idea in my new role at Cash for Kids come to life. From the initial concept through to working with our fantastic venue partners, it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch the campaign flourish. A lot of hard work has gone into making ‘Lift Their Spirits’ a reality, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support we’ve received. We hope people across Aberdeen will get behind the campaign, visit the participating venues, enjoy the cocktails and help us make a real difference to local children and families.”
Cash for Kids is encouraging local cocktail lovers to explore the participating venues throughout the summer and sample the specially crafted cocktails, knowing that every purchase helps support vital projects and grants for disadvantaged children across the region.
The charity extends its sincere thanks to Revolution Aberdeen, Bar One Eighty by Legends, The Spiritualist and Sobr Bar for their support and enthusiasm in bringing the campaign to life.
