Celebrations continue for Granite North Spirits

The celebrations continue at Granite North Spirts as the team achieve their second internationally recognised award this month.

Still revelling on the recent silver accolade at the International Spirits Challenge, Granite North are delighted to add a further award to the collection, achieving a silver medal in the London Spirits Challenge.

At this year’s London Spirits Competition Granite North Gin was awarded a silver medal which is the ultimate seal of approval in the global spirits industry. In order to receive this distinction, Granite North needed to score highly in three different categories: Quality, Value and Packaging. This was scored on a 100-point scale. Granite North achieved 83, the highest scoring Scottish gin.

According to CEO Sid Patel of event organizer Beverage Trade Network, “When looking at spirits brands consumers are looking for value and experience. So at the London Spirits Competition, we feel that it is important to look at the elements of the product that contribute to that – of course there is quality, but also critically appearance and overall value.”

Team Granite North are delighted that their product performed so well. This silver medal demonstrates that they are making the types of spirit that bar managers and mixologists want to use, and spirits drinkers enjoy choosing and drinking.
