CFINE, an award-winning charity and social enterprise, is inviting applications for a new member to join its board of directors.
Dedicated to improving health and wellbeing, protecting the environment, tackling poverty, and building resilience, CFINE delivers a wide range of support and services for disadvantaged, vulnerable, and low-income individuals, families, and communities in North-east Scotland.
This appointment presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of an award-winning charity and social enterprise.
Candidate profile
CFINE seeks an individual who shares its core values. While applications from all sectors are welcome, the charity is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:
- Law / Legal Services
- Human Resources
- Commercial / Sales
- Third Sector
Board member role
The Board is responsible for governance and strategic direction. This is a voluntary, unpaid position, though reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending Board meetings (held every two months)
- Participating in the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Engaging meaningfully in Board decision-making
- Acting as an ambassador for CFINE
