Two Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce members have joined forces after first meeting at the Chamber’s Maximise Your Membership event. SYT Coaching and Development Ltd and SZN Media recently completed a collaborative project that combined workplace coaching with digital media expertise.
Steve Thomson, founder of SYT Coaching and Development Ltd, provided Insights Discovery profiles and a two-hour feedback session to Chris McDonald and Zara Weston from SZN Media at the company’s Union Street office. The collaboration began after a suggestion from Suzanne Todd, Relationship Manager at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, who facilitated the introduction between the two businesses.
Following the profiling work, SZN Media interviewed Mr Thomson for its Seasonal Discussions podcast series, exploring workplace coaching, people-centred leadership and the role of Insights Discovery in improving communication and team performance. The episode also reflected on Chris and Zara’s own experience of receiving their profiles.
Mr Thomson said: “It was a pleasure working with Chris and Zara. Insights Discovery is a powerful tool for improving communication and team dynamics, and it was great to see them engage so openly with the process. The opportunity to discuss this further on their podcast was a fantastic extension of the collaboration.”
SZN Media’s latest episode featuring the interview is now available on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The company produces video and podcast content for organisations across the North-east.
