With almost 60 organisations confirmed – from Home Energy Scotland, Aberdeen CAB, and King's Community Foundation to specialist charities like Asthma and Allergy Foundation and Autism & Neurodiversity North Scotland – Empower Aberdeen is the city’s biggest support event of the year.

Taking place at the Music Hall on Wednesday 8 October, the event is free to attend and open to everyone. It’s designed to connect people with real, practical support on issues ranging from debt and housing to health, employability, and wellbeing.

The event is designed so that people don’t just get advice, but walk away with clear next steps and connections to help them move forward.

Scarf are asking the people of Aberdeen to help spread the word. Whether it’s supporting on social media, telling friends and neighbours, or encouraging service users to attend, every share could help someone find the support they need.

Lawrence Johnston, Co-CEO at Scarf, said: “This event is about bringing together the community and making them aware of all the help available. The more people who know about Empower Aberdeen, the more households we can help. Please take a moment to share it with your networks. You never know who might need it.”
