Goldilocks and the Three Bears is set to fill His Majesty’s Theatre with spectacular festive magic this Christmas, and to celebrate the occasion, 300 tickets are being given away to local charities.

Aberdeen Performing Arts and the show’s producers, Crossroads Pantomimes, are inviting charities to apply for free tickets to the Christmas pantomime, which runs at His Majesty’s from Saturday, 28 November to Sunday, January 3.

Charities can apply using the application form on the Aberdeen Performing Arts website for tickets to the 7pm performance on Wednesday, December 2. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, October 27.

Those who are successful are promised a magical experience, packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients with laugh-out-loud comedy, extraordinary special effects, hair-raising stunts and plenty of boos and hisses.

Aberdeen Performing Arts CEO/Creative Director, Sharon Burgess said: “Our spectacular His Majesty's Theatre panto is a truly special part of the festive season in Aberdeen and it is a privilege to be a part of that magic.

"We don't take it for granted here at HMT. We want to make sure that as many people as possible can share in that joy and festive cheer, and so we are once again extending an invite to charities to enable those who might not otherwise get to visit the theatre at Christmas to come along and enjoy Goldilocks and the Three Bears."

Audiences are invited to enter a world of wonder at His Majesty’s Theatre this festive season.
To rescue Barnum’s Circus from the clutches of Baroness Von Winklebottom, Goldilocks is helped by a sparkling cast of favourites. Gary: Tank Commander marches back to headline as Gary Barnum; much-loved panto dame Alan McHugh delights as Dame Betty Barnum; and Scottish stage and screen star Paul J Corrigan returns as Daddy Bear.

With Sarah Stenhouse as Mummy Bear, Dannielle Logan as Baby Bear, Jamie Marie Leary as Goldilocks and Anne Smith as the evil Baroness, you’re sure to agree this is The Greatest Panto on Earth!
