The Asthma and Allergy Foundation is proud to announce the success of its Charity Golf Day, held at Banchory Golf Club on 3 July 2025, which raised an impressive £7,917.75.
The event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of CNR International and the Scottish charity’s own ambassador, Barry Duncan, managing director of CNR International, alongside the outstanding efforts all the guests who came out to support the event as well as Hector Elmslie, Christine, and their team at Golfers Scotland.
The funds will directly support vital services for children, young people, and adults living with asthma and allergies, helping them manage their symptoms, reduce hospital admissions, and improve quality of life.
Martina Chukwuma-Ezike, chief executive of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, expressed her gratitude, "We are incredibly grateful to Barry Duncan, CNR International, Hector Elmslie, Christine, Golfers Scotland, and all our guests. Your generosity and commitment make a real difference to families across Scotland living with asthma and severe allergies."
The day brought together clients, supply chain partners, employees, and supporters for a memorable round of golf, camaraderie, and community spirit. Scottish football legend Richard Gough hosted the event and engaged attendees in a lively Q&A session, sharing his personal insights and reflecting on the importance of supporting health charities. Raffle prizes ranged from luxury local products to exclusive experiences, while heartfelt stories shared by participants highlighted the real-life impact of asthma and severe allergies.
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation thanks CNR International, Barry Duncan, Hector Elmslie, Christine, Golfers Scotland, and all participants. Together, they are helping the Foundation continue its mission to improve lives, prevent hospitalisations, and reduce the burden of asthma and allergies across Scotland.
