Home-Start Aberdeen is preparing for its Annual Book Advent. The charity aims to provide its supported families with a bundle of 24 wrapped, new books to be opened daily throughout December.
The charity is appealing for help from individuals, groups and organisations to donate a new book or bundle of new books for one of the following age categories: Age 0 - 2, Age 3 - 5, or Sensory Books.
The charity will be accepting donated new books from October 14 until November 15. These can be handed in at Home-Start’s Aberdeen office at 1A Alford Place or at its charity shop at 101 George Street.
Donations of a roll of Christmas wrapping paper or sticky tape will also be very welcome.
