Integrity ISS Limited has hosted a high-level delegation of Chinese and Taiwanese investors at its headquarters, Integrity House, to discuss opportunities in strategic energy investment, with a strong focus on the Energy Transition Zone (ETZ) in Aberdeen.

The visit underscored growing international interest in the UK’s rapidly evolving clean energy landscape and its potential for global collaboration.

High-Level Discussions on Strategic Investment

The delegation was welcomed by Stuart Charles Sinclair, CEO of Integrity ISS Limited, and senior representatives including the Director of Land and Planning (Neil Young) at the Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), Aberdeen. This marked a significant milestone in Integrity ISS’s ambition to foster international partnerships that accelerate the clean energy transition.

Talks centred around investment opportunities across a suite of energy technologies including:

  • Offshore and onshore wind power
  • Solar energy infrastructure
  • Green hydrogen production and distribution
  • Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)

Each of these areas represents a critical component of the UK’s net zero roadmap, and Aberdeen's Energy Transition Zone is positioning itself at the forefront of these advancements.

Aberdeen’s Role in the Global Energy Shift

The Energy Transition Zone, adjacent to Aberdeen’s historic oil and gas infrastructure, is fast becoming a hub for innovation and sustainable development. During the meeting, the Director of Land and Planning outlined how the ETZ is enabling a just transition — repurposing industrial capability and workforce expertise towards greener technologies.

With its strategic location and existing offshore engineering ecosystem, Aberdeen offers an attractive proposition for Asian investors seeking to establish a European foothold in green energy markets.

A Shared Vision for Clean Energy Innovation

In his address, Stuart Charles Sinclair highlighted Integrity ISS’s role in facilitating complex, multi-stakeholder projects that align with ESG objectives and sustainable growth:

“We are thrilled to welcome our distinguished guests from China and Taiwan. Integrity ISS Limited is committed to building bridges between the UK and global partners to unlock scalable, resilient and decarbonised energy solutions. This is more than an investment dialogue — it’s the beginning of long-term collaboration on energy systems of the future.”

The delegation was also given a comprehensive briefing on Integrity ISS’s current portfolio and development pipeline, with emphasis on their advisory and planning capabilities in facilitating project delivery across the UK and beyond.

Next Steps

The meeting concluded with commitments to continued dialogue, potential site visits in the ETZ, and further exploration of joint ventures in large-scale solar, hydrogen and CCUS projects.

This visit reinforces the strategic importance of Aberdeen as a centre for energy transformation, and the growing global confidence in UK-led innovation in sustainability.
