Businesses which will be impacted by the Scottish Government’s controversial Deposit Return Scheme are being urged to attend a workshop in Aberdeen.
Circularity Scotland – which is administering the programme – has arranged an event at the Park Inn by Radisson this Thursday.
The Deposit Return Scheme, designed to boost recycling via a 20p deposit on single-use drinks bottles and cans, has proven controversial and the Scottish Government has been urged to rethink its flagship recycling policy.
The workshops will provide more information on the scheme and how businesses can prepare for the introduction of the DRS which will go live on August 16, 2023.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 09.15 - 10.00 - registration/coffee
- 10.00 - workshop commences
