Clan Cancer Support has launched a new event for 2026 with capacity for more than 100 pub quiz enthusiasts to come together and test their general knowledge in Aberdeen next month.
Hosted by local social media influencer and renowned quizmaster Aiberdeen Mannie, The Clash of the Clans Quiz will take place at the Sandman Hotel on Thursday, February 26 from 6.30pm.
The local personality, known as Duncan Dallas, is an ambassador of Clan and hosted a series of successful mini quiz events at Clan House in Aberdeen during 2025, raising more than £5,000 for the charity’s physical and emotional support services.
All proceeds from the event in Aberdeen next month will help the charity reach more people of all ages who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
Duncan Dallas, said: “I used Clan’s services after my wife’s cancer diagnosis, so I know firsthand how important this charity is to people in Aberdeen and beyond. Luckily my wife has now fully recovered and I like to show my thanks by doing whatever I can to support the charity.
“The Clash of the Clans Quiz Night is shaping up to be a great event – people can expect themed rounds, topical challenges and a bit of friendly competition! It’s the perfect opportunity to get your clan together for a brilliant night out whilst supporting a very important local charity.”
In addition to the pub quiz format, the event will also offer fundraising games, stalls, and an auction on the night.
Fiona Fernie, Clan’s CEO, added: “We’re excited to kick off the new year with a brand-new event. Tickets are now available so people can begin to arrange their teams and get the date in the diary.
“We’d like to thank Duncan for his ongoing support and for making our 2025 quiz series such a success. We look forward to taking part in his next round at the Sandman Hotel in February.”
The Clash of the Clans Quiz Night will take place on Thursday, February 26 from 6.30pm at the Sandman Hotel in Aberdeen. Tickets cost £10 per person. Teams of up to six are recommended.
