The Aberdeen City Licensing Board is undertaking a consultation to help shape policy.

Feedback and views in relation to the Statement of Licensing Policy will be accepted until, May 31, 2018.

The consultation will be used to inform decisions in key areas including the number and geographical spread of public houses and entertainment venues in the city as well as opening hours, off-sales, outside seating areas and a variety of other policy elements.

Cllr Marie Boulton, Convener of the Aberdeen City Licensing Board, said: “The Statement of Licensing Policy is vital in shaping the future of provision in Aberdeen and the consultation is an opportunity for people to make a valuable contribution.

“In addition to responses from licensees and those in related trades, we hope residents will also make their views known. The consultation questionnaire outlines key areas for consideration and is designed to capture important feedback.”
