Greenwell has strengthened its growing team with the appointment of 18-year-old Cooper MacKinnon, who will work across the company’s office furniture and cabin divisions.
With both divisions continuing to get busier, Cooper has already proved to be a fantastic addition to the Aberdeen-based team, bringing plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck into the varied work involved across the business.
Cooper will split his time between the two divisions, supporting the teams with everything from furniture deliveries and installations to the preparation and installation of cabins. The hands-on role will allow him to learn on the job, develop a wide range of practical skills and gain experience across different areas of Greenwell’s operations.
Julie Wood, director at Greenwell, said: “Cooper has been a brilliant addition to the team. He’s only 18 but he’s enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to learn, which is exactly what we were looking for.
“With both our furniture and cabin divisions getting busier, having someone who is happy to turn his hand to different jobs and learn from the experienced people around him is a huge help. It’s also great to be able to give a young person the opportunity to learn on the job and develop with the company.”
Cooper’s appointment comes as Greenwell continues to grow its team and develop the four divisions of its Aberdeen-based family business.
