Cove Rangers FC is delighted to announce an exciting new community initiative that will see all gate receipts from home matches in the 2026/27 KDM Evolution Trophy donated to the Cove Rangers Community Foundation and charity partner, Friends of ANCHOR.
The new third shirt will proudly display the FoA logo and will be worn for the cup matches where applicable.
Supporters can pay the standard admission fee, or gain entry by making a donation, with every pound raised helping two organisations that make a real difference across the North-east of Scotland.
This initiative reflects the club’s continued commitment to supporting the local community and using football as a force for positive change. Funds raised throughout the competition will be split equally between the Cove Rangers Community Foundation and Friends of ANCHOR, ensuring that every donation benefits the two charities making a lasting impact across the region.
The club would also like to recognise the outstanding support of its main Club Partner, KR Group, whose continued backing helps make community initiatives such as this possible. Their commitment extends beyond supporting football on the pitch and reflects a shared belief in giving back to the local community, creating opportunities that leave a lasting legacy across the North-east.
The Cove Rangers Community Foundation will use its share of the proceeds to deliver a range of community programmes, including free football coaching in local schools, providing football strips and equipment for school teams, and tackling social isolation by organising regular activities that bring older members of the community together in a welcoming environment.
Friends of ANCHOR will receive a share of the proceeds to continue supporting patients and families across the North-east affected by cancer and haematology conditions, helping to enhance treatment, care and wellbeing throughout the region.
A particular highlight of the campaign will be Ladies’ Day Lunch on Saturday 26th September 2026, when Cove host Aberdeen B at Balmoral Stadium.
Alongside the match, the event will celebrate the incredible support of the female supporters while raising vital funds for the Cove Rangers Community Foundation and Friends of ANCHOR. The club hopes to make it the biggest attendance of the KDM Evolution Trophy campaign and create a memorable afternoon for everyone in attendance.
