Duncan’s Eggs, the premium brand of Aberdeenshire family farming business Duncan Farms, has been announced as an Official Supporter of Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and Team Scotland.
The Scottish producer and packer will supply 200,000 free range Duncan’s Eggs to Glasgow 2026, helping to fuel more than 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories with a nutritious, high-quality source of protein throughout the Games.
Eggs are recognised as a complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids required by the body, making them an ideal choice for athlete nutrition and recovery. They are also one of nature’s most nutrient-dense foods, naturally rich in vitamin D, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12, iodine and selenium, alongside a range of other essential vitamins and minerals that support a healthy, active lifestyle.
Duncan's Eggs will bring a true taste of Scottish agriculture to Glasgow 2026. The free-range eggs offer full traceability from field to fork and reflect a strong commitment to quality, animal welfare and sustainability. Through its online Egg Tracker, Duncan’s Eggs offer complete transparency, allowing consumers to trace eggs back to the farm where they are produced.
Sustainable stewardship is a key focus for both Duncan’s Eggs and Glasgow 2026, which aims to ‘deliver a greener Games, treading lighter on the planet’. Integrated renewable energy solutions and home-grown feed are key parts of Duncan’s Eggs sustainable ‘field to fork’ approach to egg production. The business has also invested in carbon reduction initiatives and biodiversity enrichment programs across its Aberdeenshire farms.
Rachael Duncan, Owner of Duncan Farms, said: "We are thrilled that Duncan’s Eggs is the Official Egg Provider to Glasgow 2026 and an Official Supporter of Team Scotland.

Ella Doherty, who is part of the women's 3x3 Basketball squad for Team Scotland said: "When we heard about the partnership with Duncan's Eggs today at our selection announcement we were delighted. My teammates and I eat a lot of eggs so these will go down very well during the Commonwealth Games. Having a Scottish farm lend their support to Team Scotland and the wider Games is really fantastic."
The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will bring together athletes from across the Commonwealth to compete in a celebration of sport, culture and community.
