Tickets for the 2026 Craig Brown Cup, in aid of the Russell Anderson Foundation (RAF) and featuring a host of former players, go on sale online at 9am on Monday March 30, priced at £10 with 12-and-unders free of charge (max three per ticket).
In addition, there are a limited number of Main Stand tickets priced at £20, which includes tea, coffee or a Bovril and a pie.
This year’s event is at Cove Rangers Balmoral Stadium on Saturday 6th June with a 3 pm kick-off (doors open at 1.30 pm) and former Aberdeen captain and Scotland international Russell is the latest to confirm his inclusion, joining Joe Lewis, Richie Byrne, Darren Mackie and Still Game’s Sanjeev Kohli.
The RAF founder is looking forward to catching up with some of his former team-mates. He said: “It should be a great occasion, RAF was involved last year at the last minute and I was already committed elsewhere on the day but I played a couple of years ago and really enjoyed seeing the lads again.
“The main beneficiaries however are the youngsters we support through our work in the city and the more we can raise for them, the more we can achieve.”
In addition to the match, there will be a bouncy castle in attendance, pre-match entertainment from Aberdeen Cheer & Dance and Alba Bagpipes & Highland Dancers plus the chance to win some fabulous prizes in the raffle which will be drawn on the day.
