Crane Worldwide Logistics, a global leader in integrated logistics solutions, is proud to announce the official opening of its new office and bonded warehouse in Madrid, Spain.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s European growth, made possible through the strategic acquisition of Blue Cargo, a respected logistics provider with deep expertise in the Spain market.
The acquisition of Blue Cargo has enabled Crane Worldwide to immediately establish a strong operational presence in Spain, enhancing its ability to serve clients across Southern Europe with localized expertise and global reach.
The Madrid facility, located in Coslada, just four miles from Madrid-Barajas International Airport, offers a seamless integration of office and bonded warehouse operations, providing clients with end-to-end logistics support under one roof.
The warehouse features flexible floor space designed for bonded storage, consolidation, and inventory staging, ensuring efficient coordination between freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing services. This co-located model allows for faster response times and tailored solutions for clients operating in and out of the Iberian Peninsula.
"This is a pivotal step in our global growth journey," said Jared Crane, Chief Executive Officer of Crane Worldwide Logistics. "By joining forces with Blue Cargo, we are not only expanding our footprint in Europe but also reinforcing our commitment to being where our clients need us most. The Madrid facility positions us to deliver exceptional service with the agility and expertise our clients expect."
Speaking on the acquisition, Blue Cargo owner Francisco Corrochano added: "Partnering with Crane Worldwide is a proud moment for us. We’ve built Blue Cargo on a foundation of trust, service, and deep local knowledge. Joining a global organization that shares those values means our clients will benefit from expanded capabilities without losing the personalized attention they’ve always received.
"We’re excited for what this next chapter brings—for our team, our clients, and the future of logistics in Spain.
With over 150 offices in 33 countries and more than 4,500 employees worldwide, Crane Worldwide continues to invest in strategic locations that support its clients’ evolving supply chain needs. The Madrid expansion reflects the company’s ongoing mission to provide customized, high-performance logistics solutions that combine global capabilities with local knowledge.
