Create Financial Solutions is celebrating the achievement of team member Alan, who has qualified as a Financial Planner after successfully completing his Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Alan Mattner joined the firm in late 2024 as a trainee directly from university and has since completed an intensive 18-month training programme through Quilter. During this time, he completed a series of technical exams, gained practical experience alongside experienced planners and developed the client relationship skills needed to support individuals and families with their financial planning.
Reflecting on the milestone, Alan said: “Going through the Quilter training programme over the last 18 months has been a huge learning curve. Coming from a Computer Science background, financial services were completely new to me, but I’ve found the whole experience really interesting.”
Throughout the programme, Alan combined his studies with hands-on experience working alongside the firm’s advisory team, building the technical knowledge and practical skills required to become a qualified planner.
Alan added: “I’m grateful to Lachy and Stuart for encouraging me to keep learning and giving me a wide range of opportunities to develop. I’ve been able to learn something new every day. Going forward, I’m confident I can add real value to clients by applying everything I’ve learned so far – whether that’s helping people make the most of tax allowances or explaining financial concepts in a clear and simple way so they feel confident about their finances.”
