Create Financial Solutions is delighted to welcome Natasha Buxo to the team as a Trainee Financial Planner, as the business continues to grow and invest in developing its people and supporting clients across the region.
Natasha joins Create following a successful career in procurement, most recently as General Manager UK for a procurement company in Aberdeen, where she was responsible for the financial and operational performance of the business and leading its UK team.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she gained an MSc in Psychology in the USA, which has helped shape her understanding of people and their motivations.
Since moving to Scotland in 2017, she progressed through a career in procurement to become General Manager, developing strong leadership, communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills along the way.
On the career switch, Natasha commented: “I enjoyed developing my team and supporting customers and suppliers in my previous role but ultimately wanted to change careers to contribute more directly to people’s lives.
“I see financial planning as an opportunity to combine my professional experience and passion for supporting people with work that has genuine purpose.
“My psychology background has given me insight into people and their motivations, while my leadership experience has taught me to listen, communicate effectively and build trust.”
Natasha's appointment reflects Create's ongoing growth and commitment to strengthening its team to continue providing a personal service to clients.
