The Lane and True North to provide complete brand, digital and communications advisory services.

The two innovative Scottish companies have announced a strategic partnership, enabling them to deliver a comprehensive suite of communication services spanning brand development, creative and digital strategy, advocacy and impactful media campaigns.

Edinburgh creative, brand and advertising agency The Lane and Aberdeen-based strategic advisory firm True North will work together to build their client bases, while providing bespoke consultancy services tailored to their clients’ different needs.

Ali Findlay, Founder and CEO of Edinburgh-based The Lane, said:

“We are very excited about working with True North to support organisations to develop their brand and marketing strategies. “We’ve been supporting Scottish entrepreneurs, SMEs and larger corporates to engage with new audiences since 2008 and believe True North’s offering complements our own for those clients with communications challenges.

“Renewables and sustainability marketing is a key interest of ours and we are confident that our combined offering with True North offers clients in this space an unrivalled range of expertise under one roof.

“It helps that we are culturally aligned with True North in our focus on marketing performance and effectiveness, demonstrating measurable results for our clients - and also our ability to have fun doing what we do.”

Geoff Aberdein, Managing Partner of True North, said:

“We’re a new company but we want to ensure from the outset that we’re able to offer a full service.

“True North has a depth of experience in our team and has a strong reputation for providing quality advice and delivering impactful communications, public policy and engagement strategies. “Now, in partnership with the outstanding team at The Lane, we can offer much more in terms of brand and marketing expertise, design capacity and advertising and digital specialism too. We share a common passion for delivering the best for our clients and adding clear value to their work.

“For both firms, having a footing in Scotland’s capital city and Europe’s energy capital is going to be critical to our shared ambitions for growth - and we are confident that this new partnership will lay solid foundations for that expansion.”
