Building on the huge success of last year’s event, stars of ITV’s Dancing on Ice Mark Hanretty and Alex Murphy will return to Sport Aberdeen’s Linx Ice Arena this weekend ( July 6-7), to host and take part in Sport Aberdeen’s 2019 Summer Skating Spectacular.
The showcase – which takes place on Sunday 7 July – is the centrepiece of the weekend’s events which also include workshops for skaters of all ages and abilities to receive, invaluable, expert advice from the two professional ice dancers, who have competed and won medals at a championship level.
Bringing together 47 junior and adult skaters for the five workshops and over 216 Learn to Skate members and local club skaters in the showcase, the 2019 Summer Skating Spectacular is the ideal platform to demonstrate the variety of learning to skate pathways available through Sport Aberdeen at the Linx Ice Arena.
Interviews on the day will be available with Mark Hanretty and Alex Murphy from ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
