DM Hall, one of Scotland’s largest independent firms of chartered surveyors, has successfully completed the sale of Stirling’s Nicky-Tams Bar & Bothy to young hospitality professionals Craig and Kayleigh Keith.
Situated in Baker Street in the city centre and within easy reach of Stirling Castle, Nicky-Tams is one of Stirling’s oldest pubs having first opened for business in 1718. It was up for sale at offers around £310,000.
The business has been acquired by partners Kayleigh (26) and Craig (29) and is their latest business acquisition. The couple already own and operate The Tower Bar and Grill in Crieff’s High Street. Craig has been a chef for 13 years and Kayleigh, having completed a degree in business from Edinburgh Napier University, has spent a similar amount of time in the customer services sector.
Kerry Boyle of DM Hall’s Edinburgh-based commercial sales department said: “Our client has owned the business for twenty years, initially having it managed before taking back its hand-on operation for the past four years. Nicky-Tams has an excellent reputation and with its range of drinks, live music and hot food has scored highly on Trip Advisor.
“We envisage that under its new management team Nicky-Tams Bar & Grill will continue to go from strength to strength and we wish Kayleigh and Craig all good fortune for the future.
