Aberdeen FC and city council bosses could finally be making progress on a possible new stadium at the beach, with an MoU on the table.
Exclusively revealed in The Press and Journal, Aberdeen City Council chiefs have put together the Memorandum of Understanding which is now being examined by The Dons.
The on again-off again saga has rumbled on for some years with the local authority and football club unable to agree on funding for the project.
AFC Chairman Dave Cormack had previously tabled what was labelled a "final offer", with a deadline of March 31 set to agree a head of terms.
But both parties agreed more time was needed.
Now, The P&J understands "regular meetings" are taking place, and Cormack has teased that a deal is "getting closer".
