Sales enablement consultancy, Doqaru has joined forces with communication specialists, Commsbank to design and stimulate data-driven support for sales teams and their leaders in SMEs. Through C-me colour profiling and sales competency evaluations, the two partners will provide a holistic approach to sales enablement by combining task and data-driven processes with tailored messaging that engages target audiences. This has resulted in Doqaru and Commsbank launching their Sales Team Effectiveness Programme (STEP).
C-me is a diagnostic tool which comes from an online questionnaire. It uses respondents’ answers to provide insight on their preferred communication styles. From this, respondents can find out if they are a ‘results oriented red’ or a ‘caring and compassionate green’, an ‘analytical blue’ or an ‘expressive yellow’. The reality is that everyone is a blend of all the colours, but each individual has a preference. By gaining this understanding, teams can build an awareness around communication styles that is impactful and influential. This not only benefits the individual, but the team as a whole.
Sales competency evaluations reveal data regarding key strengths and gaps for improvement in areas such as prospecting, negotiating and closing deals. Sales people who know their strengths and areas of improvements develop invaluable self awareness.
With a strategic approach, STEP puts the team in the best position to truly understand personal competencies, working preferences and practical ways of overcoming hurdles to achieving business goals.
On 8th December, Dr Yekemi Otaru of Doqaru and Karen Slupinski of Commsbank, will hold an information session on STEP. They will share how understanding a sales team's behavioural preferences and sales competency provides a strong foundation for better and more predictable sales performance.
