North-east
Scotland Sales Enablement Consultancy, Doqaru, recently celebrated its award
success with a trip to Wembley Stadium, London.
After
Doqaru’s most recent award and being recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 SMEs
in the EB100 Awards, Co-founders Sarah Downs and Dr Yekemi Otaru were invited
to attend England vs Ukraine. Alongside the other founders of the EB100 listed
SMEs, Doqaru were hosted by Club Wembley throughout the day.
Co-founder
and Chief Growth Officer, Dr Yekemi Otaru, said: “Our EB100 listing is a
testament to how hard our team works to support our clients. We’ve had such a
motivating start to 2023 with Helen Peterkin-Nicol joining the Doqaru team and
our successful ISO 9001 re-accreditation. Thanks to being EB100 winners, Sarah
Downs and I visited Wembley for the first time. We both enjoyed meeting the
organisers and the other winners. Watching the England v Ukraine football live was
amazing. What an atmosphere!”
The
event was a great way for the Co-founders to celebrate their previous successes
as Small Business of the Year Award at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards
and Social Entrepreneur of the Year at the Scottish Women’s Awards 2022.
Co-founder
and Chief Relationship Officer, Sarah Downs, states, “It has been fantastic to
see our teams’ hard work recognised this year with not only one but three
awards! We take the time to celebrate our wins internally at Doqaru, but it
feels extra special when it’s also done by our clients and business community
on a national scale.”
