One of the Granite City’s foremost hotels has been recognised twice within the space of a week for its celebrated wedding venue and high-quality customer service.
Aberdeen’s country house in the city, Macdonald Norwood Hall was named Venue of the Year as part of the Top Tier Awards, after seeing off eight north-east rivals. The result was announced on Sunday, November 26 at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen, while Julie Love was also nominated for Wedding Co-Ordinator of the Year.
The latest success comes less than a week after Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel clinched the coveted title for Wedding Venue – Aberdeen & Grampian at this year’s Scottish VOWS Awards, after being the only city-based venue to make the regional shortlist.
The VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) result was announced at a black-tie ceremony at the DoubleTree Hilton Glasgow Central on Monday, November 20.
