Energy specialist marketing agency, AB Fiftyone, is celebrating double awards recognition as both founder Pamela Miller and the agency itself named as finalists in upcoming awards.

Pamela is shortlisted for the 2026 Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the Creative & Media category, which is a great testament to recognise her entrepreneurial achievement as she reaches 10 years in business.

AB Fiftyone has also been named a finalist in the Best Digital Marketing Agency, North East Scotland at this year’s Scottish Enterprise Awards and is hoping to retain its crown from 2025.

Founder, Pamela said: “It’s fantastic to see both sides of the business recognised. The Great British Entrepreneur Awards is personal because it reflects everything I’ve been through building AB Fiftyone from scratch, while the Scottish Enterprise Awards recognition is about the work the agency and the wider team is delivering.

“We’re operating in a space with some very large and long-established agencies, so being included in these categories helps demonstrate that size is not the only measure of expertise or ambition.”

Pamela founded AB Fiftyone in 2026 from her kitchen table after being made redundant from a senior marketing role in oil and gas while eight and a half months pregnant.

Originally set up as a marketing consultancy, it has since evolved into a founder led agency, bringing skill set specialists to support energy businesses with strategy, messaging, social media, video, websites, search, campaigns and branding.

AB Fiftyone’s work has included an employee advocacy campaign for a global energy-services company that generated more than one million reach on LinkedIn. The agency also supported an offshore technology business with a multichannel campaign as it progressed from test projects to securing its first seven-figure commercial project.

Pamela added: “The energy sector is full of businesses that are both technically brilliant and innovative, but many are still difficult to find or even understand.

“Our job is to not only help them communicate that expertise more clearly and make sure the right people can discover, understand and trust what they do, but that buying preference is being built up long before the request for tender even lands on their table.

“Marketing has changed enormously. Businesses can no longer rely solely on existing relationships, events or traditional media when buyers are researching them online long before making contact. That is where AB Fiftyone is working to make a real difference.”

The winners of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards will be announced in November.
