Double shortlisting for Aberdeen International Airport in Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce’s Northern Star Business Awards

Aberdeen International Airport has been shortlisted for two local business awards.
The annual Northern Star Business Awards, ran by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, are set to take place on Thursday, September 26, at P&J Live, with the airport in the running for two awards.

The airport’s highly successful Northern Lights Lounge is up for the ‘Marketing Magic’ award for its first birthday celebrations involving local food and drink suppliers including Jimmy Buchan’s Amity Fish Company and Stonehaven’s The Bay Fish & Chips.
The airport is also nominated in the coveted ‘Business of the Year’ category.
Steve Szalay, managing director Aberdeen International Airport said: “Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce is at the heart of the local business community and it’s fantastic to be shortlisted as finalists in the Northern Star Business Awards.

“We’ve been working tirelessly on our terminal transformation project, with £20m of investment improving the baggage, security, retail and catering facilities – winning a Northern Star Award would be a great way to toast the completion of the works.”
