Perth Racecourse welcomed a sell-out crowd of 7,500 racegoers for a spectacular Edinburgh Gin Ladies Day, delivering one of the most successful and vibrant fixtures in the racecourse calendar to date.
Widely regarded as one of Scotland’s premier summer racing and social events, the fixture brought together thrilling racing action, fashion, live entertainment and charitable fundraising in a memorable celebration enjoyed by visitors from across Scotland and beyond.
Sponsored by Edinburgh Gin, the event once again transformed Perth Racecourse into a hub of colour, style and atmosphere, with racegoers embracing the occasion from the moment gates opened through to the final after-racing performance.
The Main Stage was hosted throughout the day by Gregor and Lynsey of Breakfast Radio, who kept racegoers entertained and the atmosphere building across the course from gates opening through to the evening celebrations.
A major highlight of the day was the ever-popular fashion competitions, delivered in partnership with Tiger Lily Boutique. The competitions attracted an exceptional standard of entries throughout the afternoon, with judges tasked with selecting winners from an incredibly stylish crowd.
Perth local Kirsten Cameron was crowned the Tiger Lily Boutique Grand Lady 2026, impressing judges with her elegance, individuality and contemporary race-day style.
Additional fashion competition winners included:
- Best Suit: Ewan Webster
- Best Headwear: Isobel Kirk
Alongside the racing and fashion, the event also delivered an outstanding fundraising effort in support of official charity partner Breast Cancer Now. Through donations and fundraising activities across the day, racegoers helped raise more than £8,500 for the charity, supporting its vital research and care services.
Hospitality facilities across the racecourse were at full capacity, with catering partner Saltire Hospitality serving in excess of 1,000 hospitality guests throughout the day. From private boxes to restaurant experiences, visitors enjoyed a premium race-day offering as part of the sold-out fixture.
Following an exciting afternoon of racing, the celebrations continued long into the evening as acclaimed Scottish electronic folk duo Valtos took to the stage for the official after-racing entertainment. Their performance proved hugely popular with the packed crowd and provided a fitting finale to an unforgettable day at Perth Racecourse.
