Announcing the partnership with Sword, Elementz said subsea domain experts and software engineers from the two firms will work side by side to deliver product innovation for the fast-moving subsea market, “This partnership is a game-changer for us,” said Jason Brown, chief executive officer of Elementz.
"By embedding Sword’s talent directly into our teams, we have the ability to scale quickly without compromising on efficiency or focus.
“This flexibility is crucial as we navigate new product expansions and initiatives like Tide Breaker while maintaining our lean, efficient operation and deep subsea expertise. It’s the perfect solution for accelerating our product roadmap during this high-growth phase.”
Tide Breaker, built on the Elementz platform, is a new digital initiative that sets a new standard for AI in the energy industry. By connecting startups directly with industry data, infrastructure and expertise, the aim is to turn subsea innovation into real-world impact.
For Sword, the deal highlights its expertise in proven development methodologies, making them an ideal partner for Elementz’s specialised subsea integrity applications.
“This strategic approach to provide Elementz with a flexible, embedded partnership will allow them to maintain agility while gaining access to additional development capacity exactly when they need it,” said John Shaw, Sales Lead at Sword.
“Rather than committing their organisation to permanent personnel expansion, we provide scalability and expertise in line with the demands of a dynamic subsea market.”
This collaboration reflects both companies shared commitment to innovation, agility, and long-term value creation in the energy and subsea sectors.
