Chiropractors at Banchory Spinal Health have successfully completed Emergency First Aid at Work training delivered by Go To First Aid Training, ensuring compliance with workplace first aid requirements.

Banchory Spinal Health is a team of chiropractors and massage therapists based across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire that provide treatment for neuromuscular conditions. In addition to clinic-based services, they also visit workplaces to support employee health and wellbeing.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course was delivered on-site, covering key areas such as the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, identifying hazards, conducting primary surveys, performing CPR and defibrillation, and placing casualties in the recovery position.

Participants also developed skills in managing seizures, choking, severe bleeding, burns, and other minor injuries. The training placed a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning to ensure confidence in real-life situations.

Feedback from participants highlighted the “interactive” nature of the course, the depth of knowledge shared by trainers, and the clear, “easy-to-read and understand” presentation supported by “real-life stories”. The use of “modern training equipment” and the opportunity to easily ask questions throughout were also particularly valued.

Go To First Aid Training commended the high level of engagement from participants and welcomed the opportunity to support Banchory Spinal Health in meeting their first aid obligations, helping to create a safer environment for both employees and clients."
