St Margaret’s School for Girls believes that talent and aspiration should never be limited by financial circumstances.
That’s why the school is proud to offer bursaries, helping meet the cost of school fees, from junior school through to senior school. Through the school’s dedicated Bursary Programme, girls are being given the life-changing opportunity of a St Margaret’s education - one that nurtures confidence, ambition and a lifelong love of learning.
Junior school bursaries
From the first day of primary 1 St Margaret’s girls are leading learning and junior school bursaries support girls from the very start of their educational journey. These awards allow families to access the distinctive all-girls’ education that builds confidence in an environment free from stereotype. From music and art to outdoor learning and sport, pupils thrive in an environment where every girl is encouraged to shine.
By opening the door early, bursaries enable girls to grow with confidence through the junior years and seamlessly into senior school, fully benefiting from all the opportunities St Margaret’s provides.
Bursaries shaping lives
For many families, a St Margaret’s bursary represents more than financial support - it is a gateway to opportunity. With a commitment to supporting every learner and fostering a culture of ambition, St Margaret's School for Girls continues to empower its students to thrive academically and personally, setting them on a path to success.
“Since joining St. Margaret’s, my confidence has grown significantly. The encouragement and guidance from our headteacher, form teachers, and all the staff have been truly empowering. St. Margaret’s has also given me a supportive circle of friends who uplift one another and create a positive environment every day.
School has taught me valuable lessons, not only academically, but also in life skills such as leadership, compassion, teamwork, and resilience.” Bursary recipient, 2025

Transforming lives through generosity
By investing in potential and fostering ambition St Margaret’s School for Girls continues to open doors, change lives and inspire generations of confident young women.
These bursaries are made possible thanks to the generosity of alumnae and friends of the school - a community united in the belief that every talented girl should have the chance to reach her potential. Alumnae and friends who wish to help extend these opportunities can support the Bursary Programme through donations large or small, ensuring more girls benefit from the transformative power of a St Margaret’s education.
